Summer Reading Club

Hey Followers! So I'm doing a "summer reading club" for my local library. Its very cool with all of its like "accomplishments." The paper that they gave me with all of the missions that I have to complete, and they have to do with water!

One of the mission things is that I have to blog for 15 minutes...so i was like "hey i have a blog that i forgot about!" so...Here i am blog. writing to you LIVE! lol jk :D Another mission thing is to find 5 ways to conserve water (then it listed 2 sites to look at.) So i thought "WHY NOT TELL MY BLOG" So, by looking at the lists of ways to conserve water, and here are the ways that i thought were most cool (and easy!)

WAYS TO CONSERVE WATER!:

--Take less time in the shower (5-10 minutes)

--Turn off the foucet while you're brushing your teeth

--Doing full loads of laundry (instead of half/quarter loads) can save gallons of water

--Puting bricks in the back part of your toilet can lower the amount of water in your toilet to an amount that is usible, affordable, and ECO!

--Last but not least! Re-using water for plants or cleaning is a good way to save water.

You should do those 5 things in your house to save water and give it back to those animals who live there! :D

Do you listen to music while you crochet/knit/sew/whatever?

I know that some people have "Crochet Playlist" on their iPods! I just love that!!! I tried making one but I never listen to it. I can crochet when I watch tv, talk to people, just about ANYTHING...but I can not crochet and listen to music! If you have a Crochet/Knit/Sewing/Crafting playlist that you listen to while you craft...leave a comment with a list of whats on it. I would really like to know what Crafters listen to while they craft!

Starting Anew!

Okay I am a-changin' my blog. I want it to be more about crochet! So I will be posting more patterns, talking about my projects I'm working on, and just asking about crochet to you guys. So I would like to start off with posting thing "cat wig" i made a while ago for my best friend. I based it off of this picture I found online:





So then i decided to make one for my friend and this is how it turned out:



I liked it, although it kinda looks like the cat didn't...



Anyway this is just some of the things that I do....Look at pictures and make my own version of it. So if you crocheted something based on a picture, or something you saw in a store, Let me know. I'd be glad to see! :D

Seeing Harry Potter 6!

Hello People! I am SOOOOOOO excited! Although mom and Emilee already saw it opening night, I still want to see it. Right now Em, mom and I are watching Harry Potter 4, then we're going to watch #5. I'm about to eat some Potatoes! they are my fave food. they fill the giant holes in the heart that can only be fill by that big round potato!

My friend and i yesterday went to a petstore to get a spaz fish! i kno rite?! lol when we got there we looked at the birds,turtles,hamsters,mice,lizards and bunnys. Her mom wanted to see one of the bunnys. he was holding it and the next thing i kno she wants to buy it! her credit card didnt have a pin yet so she couldn't use her card, she didnt have enough cash to get everything she needed. we ended up buying a fish and bringing it home. having enought cash to buy 2 bunnys, food, hay, bedding, and a chewing block but not a cage. so we used a dogie play pen, puppie pads, and some old boxes to play in. They named the two girl bunnys (a black lionhead) Serena, and (a white with black spots lionhead) Cupcake. After a few hours playing and holding the bunnys we put them in the cage and let them sleep. well they didnt sleep they were escapea artests. The bars were too big to keep them in so we put plastic mesh around the bars. if there are any numbers or extra letters it is serena's fault for walking on the keyboard! they slept well but in the morning we saw that Cupcake had pooped alot (dirirah) in the cage and was putting her front paws in the water bowl. Her mom gave her a bath. cupcake isn't eating so we give her a couple drops of sugar/salty water every halfhour. Serena is fine so maybe its just stress because we were holding cupcake up to the dog to sniff eachother. the fishyfishyfishyspazzzzzzzfishy is fine he is still a ssppaazzzzz!!! lolololol

I love these coloring pages! My face carebear is OopsyBear!!!!! he is green! I also like ShareBear! anyway i really like carebears and its like 1:17 in the morning so im going to bed bye byez!

At My Friend's House

I am at Emily's house FUN FUN FUN!!! we are watching TV and talking via AOL AIM and we are in the same room...tell me you havn't done that before?! aw come on, you so have done that at least once in your lifetime with a friend!!! ok maybe its just me JKJKJKJK i kno people who kno people who know lotsa people lol only i would kno what thats from!!! Co-op is on friday and i have barely finnished with the valentines!!! lol only peole who know me would know what i am talking about!!! now im bored and going to stop talking ...i mean typing!

I am watchin 30 rock :-)

I am right at this moment watching 30 rock! it rox erbody's sox! it is very funney! Katie has a walking problem! and now becky will not stop talking OMG lol..ol X-) and right now i am really in the mood for a McFlurry because its in the show lol! now its over so i'm not going to type any more bye!

I'm at work with my mom

Hey Hey Hey!!! I went to Laurel's and we were skating on the ice. I fell so many times and one time i fell on my left wrist...it hurts!!! so right now I am at mom's work (HCC) and i am on one of the computers. Rachel Babylon is here too. she is on Yahoo.com and it looks like fun! Katie is doodling...idk what she is doodling but what ev... I am really hungery because it is 1:25 so Yeah!... Rachel says she is a Panda...ok My mom is on her computer making some thing about a class thing...IDK lol... since we have to do more school work i did wii fit yesterday. I went for a "long run" (thats what its called on the wii) and then i unlocked a new thing the "island run" so I wanted to do that... little did i know that the island run ment going all aroung wii island! it took 10 minutes!!! i took a break but then kept playing other games. now I am still hungery and my hand hurts more from typing!!!

what I got for x-mas

YAYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY WE GOT A WII FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!! I LOVE IT I played it ALL day! like i was shocked when it was 4:48 and i still was not done playing! Luckily some of our friends have a wii and so we know how to use it. also we got a bunch of games! most of them are really fun! the only bad thing is that (there are 4 of us) there are no 4 player games we all want to play :-( so we are going to the mall tomorrow to get Mario Party 8 for the WII!!!!! i just love playing on the wii. we got wii fit, wiiplay, we got animal crossing city folk, wii ski but we say it is a wiski game to play (wii-ski or wis-key), we got Lego star wars the complete saga, and maybe something else but I cant think of any thing. we all got our own wii-mote and our own skin ( but 2Morrow i might get another one because i don't want to write on mine to see whose it is. So yeah I had a great Christmas! I got a crochet flower book, 6 GB sd card for my camera, a crochet-pattern-a-day calender, and some other things. I am sad that is is over though! I love Christmas ( and especially this Christmas) anyway i am going to the mall tomorrow so I better get to bed. Thanks 4 Reading Bye Byes!

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!

i love christmas! my cousin comes over from TX and she is fourteen and we hang out like sisters everytime she somes!!! i havent seen her in 2 years because her dog was dieing so she didnt come last year! anyway she is here now so I am glad she is here where we can just hang! :-) i love CHRISTMAS!

Car Crash!

This is a story that scared me alot! It happend to me! This story starts with me at my friend's house. Her name is Laurel. Her mom's name Is Mrs. Pat. When Mrs. Pat was taking me to my gutar lesson, she forgot somthing importent so she "PARKED" in the driveway. She didn't press the right button so we (laurel and I are in the car) kept going forward. Laurel and I got out of the car while it ran into a brick wall. Nothing was dammaged. So we kept on going to guitar, Mrs. Pat was telling us how to park while she was driving. She looked up and saw another car right infront of her. We didn't stop quick enough. We hit his car. (an old man was in the driver's seat) 1 ambulance and 2 fire trucks came to our side. The old man was not hurt very badley just made his already hurt neck worse. Levi ( my friend who goes to guitar with me) saw us while he was passing. His mom pulled over a little ways ahead. Laurel and I walked up tward Levi. When Levi was like 10 feet away,I burst into tears. Levi took the guitar from my hand and we walked on. I continued with my lesson. After my lesson My left wrist really hurt. I think I might have pulled somthing.

Then next morning I stubbed my left pinkie toe. I think that I might have broken it but there is nothing to do about a broken toe.

UGG! I hate having a cold. My nose is stuffy, I'm always cold, and stuff like that. I hate being tired alot and I just hate having a cold.

09/12/08 Journaling Club

Today I went to friends house to journal. We wrote about our fave places. I wrote about disney, williamsburg and here. I had alot of fun there.
